3rd Quarter Tourism Boom in Florida
The numbers are out and Florida easily exceeded the number of Visitors for the 3rd Quarter of 2021 from last year's numbers.
Between July 1st and September 30th we saw an estimated total of OVER 32 Million tourists, just over .3% more than in 2019, before the Pandemic began.
We're seeing not only visitors from around the country, tourists from around the world come to see our beautiful Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic beaches in our diverse state where there's something for everyone.
Counted in the total number included visitors travelling on cruise ships and attending theme parks proving that our state is OPEN for BUSINESS.

Making the Case on
why you should Buy a Home NOW!
The winds of change are coming, we've seen the signs this past year.
While many have taken advantage of lower home prices, the lowest mortgage rates in history and supply meeting your demand, that is quickly changing.
With the country suffering with higher prices for food, gas and most everything else, housing is also going up as the supply has diminished the demand has grown. This year we've seen bidding wars, properties being sold at Higher prices than List Price and properties going under contract within of days of hitting the market.
It's hard to predict what to expect with the Real Estate Market for 2022, but this is what we know:
Housing market inventory is still low
Home building has taken longer to complete due to the Pandemic and Supply Chain issues
With Supply Chain issues prices are going higher on most building materials needed for building

Walton County Working on More Public Beach Access Points
Those of you know that when it comes to finding a place to park when you're heading for the Beach can become difficult and you find yourself, along with others, vying for the same spot that just opened up! With the growing number of tourists it's clear that something needs to be done.
Walton County is very aware of these issues and are making plans for opening up to 7 parcels dedicated just for public parking and access to the beach. The problem is that it can take up to 4 years to do it.
Ground has recently been broken on one of these parcels, expected to open up by next June. This new beach access point will come with amenities including bathrooms, a lifeguard station, a wheelchair accessible ramp and parking, not only for cars but also for bicycles and golf carts.
No word yet on how far along the process is for the remaining 6 parcels but it's hopeful they'll be built sooner rather than later.
Check back for upcoming developments on this important need for our area.
